Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players have worked out a way to play Outbreak early. Outbreak, a hotly-anticipated large-scale Zombies mode for up to four players, isn't supposed to go live until the launch of Season Two tomorrow at 6pm UK time, Thursday 25th February. But it is playable now - after downloading this morning's Season Two update . To play Outbreak, download the update, then go offline. Log into Black Ops Cold War then, in Zombies, on the Find Games tab, create a match. In this offline custom games portion of Zombies, you're able to select Outbreak and play on Alpine, Ruka or Golova. The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update has reduced the size of the Moscow multiplayer map. As you can see below, a discovery was made over on the Black Ops Cold War subreddit earlier today. It turns out that the update used to pre-load Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War, which was put out earlier today , has actually reduced the size of the Moscow map, which we've been able to confirm for ourselves by exploring the map in a multiplayer match. After the update moscow has become smaller from r/blackopscoldwar The post above does a really good job of showcasing how the Moscow map in Black Ops Cold War has been reduced in size. Notably, two areas have been cut off: one in the very southwestern corner of the map, and another to the very east of the map, at the end of the long road skirting the southern edge of the Moscow map. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 download is now live and ready to be loaded up ahead of tomorrow' launch. The Black Ops Cold War Season 2 download is available right now. So far, we've only been able to confirm that the download is available on PS5, and that it weighs in at just over 19GB on Sony's next-gen console. Right now, the Black Ops Cold War Season 2 download might be available, but it's not actually introduced any of the new content dropping in with the season. For example, the four new Operators available in the new season can be seen in the Operators sub menu, but they're greyed out and locked, presumably unlocking when Season 2 launches tomorrow on February 25. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Outbreak is now playable on PS5 and PS4, if you follow certain steps. As revealed by TheRealGhost509 in this YouTube video, and tested by us, the mode which was supposed to go live on February 25 along with Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War is now available early. It also seems that Black Ops Cold War Season 2 is available to download now as well, a full day before it was scheduled to be released, although content related to the new season isn't live yet. The update that adds the Season 2 content is beginning to roll out now for Black Ops Cold War, while Warzone's Season 2 patch is coming a little later. Here's a quick rundown of what to expect in terms of timing and more. Black Ops Cold War The "rolling update" for Black Ops Cold War Season 2 started late in the evening on February 23, so you should be able to start your download right now. While you have to wait a little longer to actually play the Season 2 content in full, the update immediately unlocks access to the Death Machine Scorestreak, a new title screen, and a new lobby.
