Euler Motors on Thursday raised INR 30 crore as part of its ongoing Series A round, led by the present investors, Inventus India and Jetty Ventures. Investor Sujeet Kumar, co-founder of Udaan, also participated in this round, along with new investors Srinivas Anumolu and K Ganesh from Growth Story. Euler Motors will use the fund to set up a new production facility, for R&D activities, and for the expansion of charging and servicing infrastructure, the company said in a statement. Euler Motors has so far raised INR 50 crore in its series A fund-raise and has raised nearly INR 65 crore since the company’s inception. Mumbai: Anil Ambani-led Reliance Power said Thursday that the company, along with partner JERA of Japan, has achieved financial closure for its 745 megawatts (mw) Bangladesh unit by tying up funds with a group of lenders that includes Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Asian Development Bank (AD B ). In 2019, Reliance Power announced a debt-restructuring deal with US Exim Bank for its Samalkot project in Andhra Pradesh, which was rendered defunct due to lack of gas supply to it. The company decided to relocate the equipment from the project to Bangladesh and subsequently, inducted the Japanese utility as a partner for developing the 750 mw-gas based combined cycle power project . HYDERABAD : On a day central power minister RK Singh denied reports of Chinese cyberattacks leading to a major power outage in Mumbai last year, top Telangana electricity officials said they had received alerts about Chinese malware entering 40 sub-stations from the Central Electricity Authority. Late on Monday evening, the CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) reported from a trusted source that China-based threat actor group command and control servers were trying to communicate with systems belonging to Telangana SLDC (State Load Dispatch Centre) and asked the Telangana power utilities to take all protection and safety measures. The SLDC monitors power supply situation in the state and the malware had entered 40 substations, but efforts by the hackers were successfully thwarted by state government agencies. “After we got an alert from the central authorities, we have removed all malware in 40 substations in SLDC and strengthened our firewall.
