Telangana High Court directs government to take up fresh sero-survey soon
Telangana High Court on Thursday ordered the government to conduct another survey at the earliest to monitor the situation on an ongoing basis. While examining a case pertaining to Covid-19 situation in Telangana, the court asked the government to implement the measures suggested in the previous and the future surveys. The government submitted that three sero surveillance surveys were conducted between June 3 and December 2020. Between January 25 and February 12 this year, 1,03,737 RT PCR and 4,83,266 antigen tests were conducted in the state, the government said. Citing the examples of Maharashtra , Karnataka and other places where a second wave of Covid-19 is creating panic, the court directed the government to be cautious about the danger of the virus that is still looming large in Telangana. Warning not to release pets into the wild after Eastern water dragon seen in Bay of Plenty lake
Pet owners are being warned not to release unwanted animals into the wild after an Eastern water dragon was seen swimming in the waters near Lake McLaren.
