Electronic invoicing could make Australia and New Zealand $30 billion richer over the next 10 years, Small Business Minister Stuart Nash believes. Just in case "electronic invoicing" is making anyone feel drowsy, that would be enough money to buy everyone in the world a short black, at $4 a pop. Are the financial benefits for real? It's an estimate of course. But 1.3 billon invoices fly around within and between the two countries each year. There's a lot of zeros in this story. Jan Koum, the CEO and cofounder of WhatsApp, has rung in the new year with a Facebook post touting the messaging apps' user numbers. WhatsApp now has 700 million monthly active users, up from 600 million at the end of August. Those users combine to send more than 30 billion daily messages. Judy Dollo was one of the first clients to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at a Durham pharmacy. Niki Shah gave her the shot at Lovell Drugs in Whitby. April 5, 2021. Durham pharmacies will offer the AstraZeneca vaccine to people 55 and older as early as April 3. Starting on that date, eligible adults can visit ontario.ca/pharmacycovidvaccine to find a list of participating pharmacies. They'll have to contact the pharmacy to make an appointment. It's not clear whether vaccines will be available at all participating Durham pharmacies starting on April 3. While Health Canada reviews data, Ontario is not currently using the AstraZeneca vaccine for anyone under the age of 55.
