The Indian equity markets opened marginally lower on Monday after a Wall Street tumble that set off worries the biggest US bank failure in nearly 15 years might have ripple effects around the world. However, as of 9.23 am, the Nifty 50 index advanced 110 points or 0.63% to 17,523, while the S&P BSE Sensex rose 337 points or 0.57% to 59,472.
