Elon Musk plans to link human brains to computers using tiny implants, but a new report warns the implants could leave us vulnerable to hackers. Speaking with Zdnet , Experts said cybercriminals can access these brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) to erase your skills and read thoughts or memories – a breach worse than any other system. To make the technology secure, systems need to ‘ensure that no unauthorized person can modify their functionality.’ This could mean using similar security protocols found in smartphones such as encryption to antivirus software.
