GTA 6 release date, news and rumours

There’s no denying that there will, one day, be a GTA 6. In fact, if you listen to GTA 5’s own Trevor – aka Steven Ogg – it’s coming “soon”, explaining that Rockstar’s “games take 7-8 years to make, do the math.” Although that’s far from concrete confirmation, it does make things even more exciting. The success of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto series – and the ongoing is palpable, so believing there’s going to be a sequel to GTA 5 isn’t a pipedream. It’s more a case of when, rather than if. But, seeing as Red Dead Redemption 2 only rode onto consoles last year, you might be waiting a little while for this particular dish. We would prepare yourselves for GTA 6 being a title that launches well into the PS5 and Xbox Project Scarlett console generation, to take full advantage of all the new technologies that they’ll inevitably bring.
