0 Kids & Family PAWS of Coronado found foster homes for all the pets at the city-run Coronado Animal Care Facility. The ACF needed to find homes for all pets to properly decontaminate the facility due to an ringworm outbreak that occurred back in September. Enormous “THANKS!” go to our President, Karen Dwinell, and Head of the Cat Adoption and Foster Teams, Bob Miegl and Corinne Mitchell, for spending untold hours finding homes for each of the critters who had suffered through the ringworm outbreak. Now the cats and dogs, kittens and pups can rest and recover from the turmoil of the past few months…and so can Karen, Bob and Corinne! But, these dedicated volunteers remain on call to anyone who can help foster over the Thanksgiving holiday or who wish to give one of these animals their forever home.
